ADVANCING IN SPRINT PRELIMS
In 100m, 200m and 100/110m Hurdles prelims, the following procedure will be used for advancing to semifinals.
If there are 4 heats, the top 3 from each heat will advance
with the next 4 fastest times.
If there are 5 heats, the top 2 from each heat will advance with the next 6
fastest times.
Advancing from semifinals to finals, the top 3 from each semifinal will advance with the next 2 fastest times.
