VOLLEYBALL (GIRLS)

This sport started in the Spring of 1974 with a single classification.  In the Spring of 1984 it was moved into two classifications (AAA & AA).  This also marked the last time it was played as a Spring sport.  It became a Fall sport starting with the 1984-85 school year which resulted in two championships that year.  In 2000-01 school year, the Girls Volleyball Championships expanded to three classifications.
